Rhonald earned a PhD in Physics from the University of Minnesota. His work involves quantification of functional importance of protein segments through biological sequence analysis, mathematical modeling and analysis of biological systems, and development of biomolecular structure visualization tools and services. He has developed software and performed calculations in a variety of platforms and computer languages, such as Python,Java,PERL,Matlab,R,C/C++,Dizzy.
